Activities around the fauna, flora, natural, environmental and maritime riches of the Ile de Ré.
Installed in a former lime kiln dating from the 19th century, the ANCRE Maritaise, a municipal structure, welcomes 4 associations focused on the environment, the protection of nature and the safeguarding of island heritage.
ADEPIR (Association for the Defense of Fish Locks on the Île de Ré), the LPO (League for the Protection of Birds), Ré Nature Environnement and the Tardigrades (theatrical company) enliven this place through exhibitions, conferences, outings or guided tours, workshops (children and adults) and shows.
Temporary artistic exhibitions also complete this system.
L’ANCRE Maritaise is open to the public, free of charge, from Easter to All Saints’ Day, each year.
In 2018, ANCRE Maritaise is open from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 3 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Weekly closing every Tuesday, as well as Wednesday morning and Friday morning.
