A stone’s throw from the Nature Reserve , the Maison du Fier is managed by the LPO. It is a museum space dedicated to the natural heritage of the Ile de Ré.

Installed in a former salt shed steeped in history, the Maison du Fier hosts permanent and temporary exhibitions on the fauna, flora and landscapes of the Ile de Ré.

Exhibitions, film screenings and various discovery activities (thematic outings, children’s workshops, observation points, etc.) are offered throughout the year.
